The human brain is capable
of doing many great things such as extraneous problem solving, complicated
decision making, and in some special situations, even heal and repair itself
from debilitating brain injuries. In my opinion the brain is the most complex
and most mysterious organ in the body, but also the most incredible simply
because of its limitless potential.
Human
brains are divided into 4 district lobes to makeup the cerebrum:
The occipital lobe - Process visual stimuli and allows the brain to process light object.
The parietal lobe - Allows us to process pain,pressure and other physical sensations.
The temporal lobe - Controls memory, personality and language. Allows to distinguish smell and sound.
The frontal lobe - Responsible for speech,emotion,behavior movement and planning.
The study focuses solely on the
frontal lobe because it houses our motor functions, problem solving skills,
etc. The frontal lobe is divided into two separate portions, the left lobe and
the right. Both are said to own different characteristics and control different
functions.
The three main parts of the brain.
- Cerebrum or Cerebral cortex
- Cerebellum
- Brain stem
The brain records your every move. The human brain
is the most complex organ in the human body. It controls the central nervous
system , by way of the cranial nerves and spinal cord, the peripheral
nervous system and regulates virtually all human activity. Involuntary,
or "lower," actions, such as heart rate, respiration, and digestion,
are unconsciously governed by the brain specifically through the autonomic
nervous system. Complex, or "higher," mental activity, such as
thought, reason, and abstraction is consciously controlled.
